YANKTON The Brookings girls golf team finished in 10th place in the Yankton Invitational at Fox Run Golf Course on Friday afternoon.
The Bobcats had a team score of 401. Aberdeen Central finished in first place with a score of 319. Rapid City Stevens came in second (326) and Sioux Falls Lincoln came in third (346). Brandon Valley came in fourth (359) and Sioux Falls Jefferson finished in fifth (365).
Miyah Foerster was the top finisher for the Bobcats, tying for 20th with a score of 91. Kamryn Streich tied for 27th (95) and Tafney Lunn tied for 48th (104). Oakley VanMaanen tied for 61st (111) and Madeline Enerson came in 64th (114).
Rapid City Stevens Lauren Knapp won the individual tournament with one under 71. Aberdeen Centrals Emma Dohrer shot an even 72 and came in second. Aberdeen Centrals Olivia Bruan came in third (75), Aberdeen Centrals Kyley Wirebaugh came in fourth (77) and Watertowns Gabi Olson finished in fifth (78).
The Bobcats will play in the Mitchell Invitational on Friday at Lake View Golf Course at 10:30 a.m.
