BROOKINGS COUNTY A hit-and-run accident that damaged a bridge northeast of Aurora is being investigated by the Brookings County Sheriffs Office.
The incident occurred between April 15 and May 6, and caused an estimated $5,000 in damage to the structure on 482nd Avenue just south of 213th Street. Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring wrote in a Tuesday news release that the damage included the guard rail, deck and structure.
