The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Elkton at the Elkton Community Center on April 13. Fifteen members, eight leaders, and one guest, Bob Kurtz, were present.
Madison held the meeting to order. Olivia led the flag pledge, and Hayes led the 4-H pledge. The roll call was, Guess how many candies is in the jar. Carlie gave the secretary the report, and Kate gave the treasurer the report.
Old business: The Brookings County T-shirt design contest was a tie.
New business: Livestock project log sheets, youth livestock literacy opportunities coming up, 4-H horse project guide and state horse show schedule, youth horse literacy opportunities, and registration for summer camp is open. Save cans and drop them off at Runnings in the bin.
Community Service: May Day baskets.
Next meeting: May 4.
