BROOKINGSS The Brookings Area United Ways Volunteer United program recently announced that Gloria Nilson has been named the April 2025 Volunteer of the Month, an area-wide award program sponsored by First Bank & Trust.
Nilson volunteers with the Brookings Regional Humane Society. Humane Society Executive Director Maia Moore said, Gloria is so valued! She has stepped in and just keeps herself busy and has started showing new volunteers how to help. She is cheerful and incredibly detail oriented. We are so lucky to have Gloria here!
