HAYTI The Arlington, Colman-Egan, Elkton-Lake Benton, Estelline/Hendricks, Flandreau and Sioux Valley golf teams competed at the Hamlin Early Bird on Thursday.
Boys
Flandreau came in second place with a team score of 258. Elkton-Lake Benton came in fourth (270) and Colman-Egan came in eighth (288). Arlington finished in 10th (316) and Estelline/Hendricks came in 11th (316). Hamlin won the team event (247).
The Fliers had three golfers on the boys side. Hunter Bushkofsky was the top finisher, coming in sixth with a score of 84. Alfie Henderson came in 10th (85) and Jon Burshiem came in 16th (89).
Jack Stein led the Elks and he came in 14th (88). Eliot Erickson and Tanner Drietz came in 20th and 21st, respectively, and had the same score (91). Lane Schnindler came in 23rd (92) and Colt Beck finished in 25th (93).
The Hawks were led by Taylor Kriech, who came in seventh (84). Jack Whitehouse finished in 24th (93) and Davien Billmeier came in 42nd (111).
Bryce Heflin led the Cardinals and he came in 14th (87). Trysten Huntimer came in 32nd (100) and Aiden Steffensen finished in 44th (113). Sergio Maldonado came in 50th (117) and Chase Henriksen came in 64th (128).
Atticus Eyjolfson was the top finisher for the Redhawks and he came in 22nd (92). Cade Hexem came in 36th (105) and Cam Olson came in 53rd (119). James Lesher came in 60th 123) and Jonathan Moe rounded things out for the Redhawks in 62nd (124).
Girls
Sioux Valley came in second with a team score of 277. Estelline/Hendricks finished in fifth with a score of 277. Clark/Willow Lake won the girls side (268).
Taylor Bastian led the Cossacks and she came in third with a score of 87. Lillie Noble came in fifth (91) and Masey Topp finished in 10th (99). Kaedyn Sapp came in 21st (112) and Riley Stirling rounded things out for the Cossacks, coming in 24th (115).
Ayla Texley led the Redhawks and she came in seventh (94). Mackenzie Court came in 25th (119) and Whitney Court finished in 29th (122). Allie Duenwald was the final finisher for Estelline/Hendricks and she came in 30th (122).
Colman-Egan had two golfers. Mauryn Landis came in 11th (99) and Aspen Clark came in 26th (119). Malyha Slegers represented ELB and she came in 15th (102). Arlingtons lone golfer on the girls side was Emerson Siebersma and she finished in 37th.
