BROOKINGS The Brookings boys tennis team went 1-1 in a triangular with Aberdeen Roncalli and Mitchell on Tuesday at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts.
The Bobcats beat Aberdeen Roncalli 7-2 and then fell to Mitchell 9-0. Brookings is now 2-3 on the season and will play at Harrisburg on Thursday.

The Bobcats swept the singles matches. Zach Mueller beat Gannon May 10-4 in the No. 1 flight. Braylon Peters topped Ezra Feickert 10-4 in the No. 2 match. Carson Kreie beat Will Haskell 10-4 in the No. 3 match and Brodie McCarty took down Ben Goebel 10-8 in the No. 4 match. In the No. 5 match Andrew Hahn beat Caleb Stoks 10-4. In the final singles match Xavier St. Pierre topped Liam Voehl 10-6.
Mueller and McCarty had the lone doubles win for the Cats as they beat Feickert and Goebel 10-3 in the No. 2 doubles match. Peters and Kreie lost 10-7 to May and Haskell in the No. 1 match and Hahn and St. Pierre fell to Stoks and Voehl in the No. 3 match, 10-9. They lost the last set 7-5.
Mitchell 9, Brookings 0
Mueller lost to Matthew Mauszycki 10-5 in the No. 1 singles match. Peters fell to Luke Jerke 10-1 in the No. 2 match and Kreie lost to Asher Dannenbring 10-0 in the No. 3 match. McCarty was beaten 10-5 by Cooper Star in the No. 4 match and Hahn lost to Dawson Adams 10-5 in the No. 5 match. In the final singles match St. Pierre lost to Sutton Thompson 10-4.
Peters and Kreie lost to Mauszycki and Jerke 10-6 in the No. 1 doubles match. Mueller and McCarty fell to Star and Thompson 10-3 in the No. 2 match and Hahn and St. Pierre lost 10-4 to Dannenbring and Adams in the No. 3 match.
