The Brookings Birding Club will hold its April meeting on April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Larson Nature Center at Dakota Nature Park, which is is located on the northwest corner of 22nd Avenue and 32nd Street South.
The presenter will be Devin Pitts, who is, among other things, a bird photographer from Watertown.
He will be talking about different owls he has seen within a few hundred miles of here.
There are 19 owl species seen in the U.S., and Pitts has photographed at least a dozen of them in the Upper Midwest.
If you are on Facebook, you might want to look up Pitts’ post from Superb Owl Sunday on Feb. 9. Brookings Birding Club meetings are free and open to all interested people.
