BROOKINGS Dr. George Ceremuga of Avera Medical Group Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will begin seeing patients at Brookings Health Systems outreach clinic. He will be available to see patients the first and third Wednesday of each month starting on April 16.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Ceremuga diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions and injuries, including musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, spinal injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Services he provides includes electrodiagnostic studies, such as nerve conduction studies and electromyography, which help diagnose damage to nerves and muscles.
Dr. Ceremuga received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He performed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
