CLASS IV FELONY

• Shawna M. Elenkiwich, 32, of 2324 10th St., sixth-offense DUI, fined $850.50 and sentenced to 10 years in the state penitentiary and 45 days in Brookings County Detention Center, all penitentiary time suspended upon conditions imposed by the court.

CLASS V FELONY

• Coty Eugene Verhoek, 25, of 600 W. 16th Ave. S., unauthorized ingestion of controlled substance in schedules I or II, fined $850 and sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary; second-degree eluding, fined $600 with $5,900 restitution and sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary.

• Gabriella Fjerstad, 20, of 2015 U.S. Highway 14, DUI, fined $747, suspended imposition of sentence.
• Kyler Dayne Bollinger, 19, Timber Lake, having an altered or invalid license in possession, fined $296.50 and sentenced to 10 days in BCDC; possession of alcohol by a minor, fined $132.50 and sentenced to 10 days in BCDC, all jail time suspended upon conditions imposed by the court.
