During her tenure, significant accomplishments occurred: completion and opening of two elementary schools; implementation of early learning programs; formulation of a new vision statement (Empowering all learners to embrace and be inspired to reach their potential.”) and mission statement (“A Great Place to Learn; A Great Place to Work; A Great Place to Collaborate; A Responsible District.”). This is ample evidence of strategic leadership.
Teri courageously upholds ethical standards and has a passion for the fair and respectful treatment of all students.
She is open to new ideas, and she works effectively with others to implement them. She makes data-driven, informed decisions. As an active and effective listener, she responds to the needs and concerns of students, teachers, parents and community members in building trust and working collaboratively.
I identify with and celebrate Teris commitment to continuous learning. All too many, for whatever reason, have decided to discontinue their education before or shortly after graduating. Teri serves as an excellent role model, not only for todays youth, but for members of the broader community.
