Legion serving breakfast in Brookings on March 8

BROOKINGS Brookings American Legion Post No. 74 will serve a pancake, scrambled eggs and sausage breakfast on March 8.

Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice, coffee and milk will be served from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

The cost: lumberjack $10; regular $8; kids 5-11 $4; ages 4 and under eat for free.

Post No. 74 is at 1229 Western Ave.

Proceeds will be used for Boys State, American Legion Baseball, Youth Trooper Academy, scholarships and other charitable projects which the American Legion supports.

The Legion Auxiliary will be hold its bake sale as well.
