Iroquois/Lake Preston and James Valley Christian advanced in the Region 2B Playoffs of boys basketball on Monday night.
The No. 8 seeded Sharks beat No. 9 Arlington 63-48, while the No. 7 seeded Vikings took down No. 10 Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 76-64.

IROQUOIS ILP fell behind early and had to come back to beat the Cardinals on Monday night.
Arlington led 18-9 after the first quarter and then took a 31-28 lead into halftime. The Sharks then outscored the Cardinals 14-5 in the third and led 42-36 heading into the fourth. They then had a 21-12 advantage in the final quarter.
Ervin Carter led the Sharks with 22 points. Lucas Peskey had 13 points and Carter Arbeiter had seven points. Daunte Glanzer and Peyton Hope each had six points.
The Cardinals were led by Paxton Rheault who had 16 points. Miles Antonen had 12 points and Brecken Vossler and Jake Burns each had seven points. Leilan Farstad had six points.
ILP is now 8-13 and will take on top-seeded Castlewood on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Castlewood. Arlington finished the season with a record of 1-20.
No. 7 James Valley Christian 76, No. 10 Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 64
JVC pulled away from ORR in the second half on Monday night.
The Vikings led 22-16 at the end of the first quarter. The Raiders then outscored JVC 15-9 in the second quarter and it was 31-31 going into halftime. JVC would then have a 20-15 advantage in the third quarter and led 51-46 going into the fourth. In the final quarter the Vikings outscored the Raiders 25-18.

ORR finished with a record of 3-18. JVC will play No. 2 seeded Wessington Springs on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
