FLANDREAU The Flandreau boys basketball team beat Deubrook Area 51-41 in Flandreau on Monday night.
The Dolphins led 12-6 at the end of the first quarter and then took a 24-21 lead into halftime. Flandreau cut the lead to 31-30 at the end of the third quarter and then would outscore Deubrook 20-11 in the final frame.
Alfie Henderson led the Fliers with 18 points. Paul Parsley had 13 points and five rebounds.
Deubrook Area was led by Isaac Gass, who had 13 points. Chance Schoenfeld had 12 points.
It was the final game of the regular season for both teams. Flandreau has a record of 11-9 and will play in the Region 3A Playoffs next week. Deubrook Area is now 9-11 and will compete in the Region 2B Playoffs next week.
