BROOKINGS Music lovers and curious concertgoers alike are in for a special treat this February, when one of the worlds most famous chamber orchestras kicks off its U.S. tour in Brookings.
Traveling all the way from London, The Academy of St Martin in the Fields will perform at South Dakota State Universitys Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Presented by Woodbine Productions, this concert is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for people in South Dakota and the surrounding region. Its the only stop the orchestra will make in the upper Midwest during their U.S. tour, making it a must-see event for anyone who enjoys live music, whether youre a classical music fan or just looking for a night of incredible entertainment.
The orchestra will be joined by Bruce Liu, a young, award-winning pianist who shot to fame after winning the prestigious International Chopin Piano Competition. Known for his energy, passion, and jaw-dropping talent, Liu brings a fresh and exciting vibe to the concert stage.

Woodbine Productions is a unique series at South Dakota State University funded entirely by an anonymous benefactor through the SDSU Foundation; all ticket sales fund scholarships for music students at SDSU.
