SIOUX FALLS The Brookings Swim Club competed in a meet in Sioux Falls over the weekend and had 15 top-three finishes.
Wesley Hanson-McComb was the lone winner for BSC. He won the 9-10 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:39.11. Hanson-McComb finished in third in the boys 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:32.71.
Kjersten Johnson finished in the top three in three races. She came in second in both the 11-12 100 yard breaststroke (1:16.97) and the 50 yard breaststroke (34.73). Johnson also finished in third in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:51.91).
Emmet Morehouse came in second in the boys 11-12 50 yard backstroke with a time of 33.28. Evan Morehouse came in second in the 8 & under 50 yard freestyle (43.04) and third in the 100 yard freestyle (1:36.01).
Jane Medland had four top-three finishes. She came in second in the girls 8 & under 25 yard backstroke with a time of 19.86. Medland finished in third in the 50 yard freestyle (39.31), 25 yard breaststroke (24.20) and the 25 yard freestyle (16.96).
Ella Morehouse came in third in the 9-10 50 yard breast with a time of 48.59. McKinley Schwab came in third in the girls 11 & over 50 yard backstroke (30.01) and Jensen Weber came in third in the boys 11-12 50 yard breaststroke.
