MITCHELL The Brookings gymnastics team came in second in a triangular with Mitchell and Madison on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats had 140.250 points as a team. Mitchell came in first with 149.150 and Madison came in third with 135.700.
Layla Erickson was the top finisher for the Bobcats as she came in fourth in the all around with a score of 36.700. She came in fourth in both the vault (9.250) and the uneven bars (8.950). She finished in third in the balance beam (9.050) and fifth in the floor exercise (9.450).
Ava Petterson came in sixth in the all around with a score of 34.400. She came in 12th in the vault (8.650) and 13th in the uneven bars (8.050). Petterson finished in fifth in the balance beam (8.950) and 11th in the floor exercise (8.750).
Kennedy Ronning came in eighth in the all around with a score of 34.150. She came in ninth in the vault (8.800) and eighth in the uneven bars (8.450). Ronning finished 15th in both the balance beam (8.300) and the floor exercise (8.600).
Neveah Strohfus came in ninth in the all around. She came in 11th in the vault (8.700) and 14th in the uneven bars (7.800). Strohfus finished in 10th in the balance beam (8.750) and 12th in the floor exercise (8.700).
Brooklyn Ballis came in 11th in the all around with a score of 33.850. She came in 13th in the vault (8.650) and fifth in the uneven bars (8.800). Ballis finished 18th in both the balance beam (8.050) and floor exercise (8.350).
Lexi Norgaard came in 12th in all around with a score of 33.000. She came in 17th in the vault (8.500) and 12th in the uneven bars (8.100). Norgaard finished in 17th in the balance beam (8.100) and 19th in the floor exercise (8.300).
Brookings will host a quadrangular with Harrisburg, Pierre and Watertown on Monday at 5 p.m.
