This years edition of the Christmas, Kids and Cops event took place Wednesday evening at Walmart in Brookings.

This is the events 17th year in Brookings, and over that time it has helped hundreds of youngsters and their families fill not only their Christmas stockings with gifts, but their pantries as well with enough food for a hearty holiday meal and then some.
