Donald Trump is an isolationist due to the fact he plans to pull our military out of Ukraine and Syria.
Vladimir Putin, a Russian dictator, wants to take over Ukraine and will kill anybody who gets in his way. Putin wants to conquer Ukraine because it is the breadbasket of Europe. Currently, we supply American weapons for Ukraines military to fight Russian troops. Ukraine does not have enough military power by itself to evade Russian invasion.
Please do not say it is not our problem. If we pull out of Ukraine, our relationships with European allies will be weaken. European and Asian allies are essential for peace in the world. Please do not let dictators rule the globe. We will not stand for this genocide and hatred towards others.
Trump is also an isolationist because he plans to put higher tariffs on all our trade partners. He plans to put 60% tariffs on all products we get from China. These tariffs will create inflation throughout the United States. Grocery prices for consumers will soar in our country. Shortages could happen in some sectors of the U.S. economy. China has the second-largest economy in the world. The reason American corporations have manufacturing plants and stores throughout China is because they provide new markets to sell their products. The U.S. economy cannot be as strong as it is currently, if we let Trump isolate us.
In conclusion, Trump does not understand how the global economy affects the U.S. economy. Other countries markets affect the prices that we pay for goods. Americans are very dependent on the global economy more than ever. Tariffs cause inflation. Trumps isolationist policies need to be stopped, or we will have major problems throughout the world.
