SIOUX FALLS For the second time this season, South Dakota State sophomore Anna Mei Castro has been honored as the Summit League Womens Peak Diver of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.
A native of Barcelona, Spain, Castro won the 1-meter diving competition in a Dec. 6 home dual against Omaha with a season-best score of 230.48. She also posted a runner-up finish on the 3-meter board with a mark of 236.35 over six dives.
Castro previously received the award Oct. 15.
The Jackrabbits return to competition Jan. 11 at Augustana.
