The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary sponsors the Third Sunday Breakfast for local nonprofit organizations. This gives the organizations a chance to share the information about what the goals are for helping our community.
In September, the Brookings Police Department Foundation helped serve the breakfast prepared by the members of the VFW Auxiliary and Post. The community supported the foundation and also had the opportunity to visit with members of the local police force.
The breakfast proceeds presented to the foundation added up to $1,350.
Any nonprofit organization is the Brookings area is invited to submit a letter of request. The letter will need the name and purpose of your organization. The letter may be sent to Jan Olson, 1924 Ninth St. S., Brookings, SD, or email her at [email protected].
