The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Elkton at the Elton Community Center in Oct. 9. There were 13 members, five leaders and five parents present.
Maddisyn Thompson called the meeting to order. Ava read the secretary’s report and Olivia read the treasurer’s report.
Old business: Ditch cleaning.
New business: Sponsor Thanksgiving meal, deliver phone books, Project Joy, bell ringing, Christmas tree at Elkton community center.
Community service and 4-H promotion: The club made tie blankets and National 4-H week this month. We also voted for our new officers.
Next meeting: The next meeting was Nov. 12 at the Elkton Community Center.
