Little Leprechauns vote to send money to North Carolina

The Little Leprechaun 4-H club met Nov. 3 at the Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center.

The meeting was called to order by Kale Nelsen.

The flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Terra Nelsen. Roll Call this month was “What is your favorite food to eat and what is your worst food to eat?” The secretary report was given by Brenna Nelsen and the treasurer report was given by Liam McCausland.

Old business was discussing our Christmas tree at the Brookings Activity Center’s Festival of Trees.

New business covered was reminder to re-enroll in 4-H for the new 4-H year and pay club dues. Discussion held on helping the 4-Hers in North Carolina with their hurricane recovery. It was voted to send money to North Carolina 4-H. A discussion was held on phone book delivery and on the Recognition Event coming up Nov. 19. The club also discussed its December Christmas party.

The Talk this month was “What is your most favorite thing to do?

After the meeting the club made Christmas decoration for our Christmas tree at the Festival of Trees. The next meeting will be Dec. 13 with caroling and a Christmas party.
