BROOKINGS The South Dakota State volleyball program announced the addition of three players to the roster for the 2025 season as part of National Signing Day on Wednesday.

Klein is the daughter of Craig and Michelle Klein. She is on the honor roll at Albany Area and ranks 14th in her high school class.
Head Coach Dan Georgalas on Hannah Klein: “Our fans will notice Hannah’s athleticism right away. She’s a long and twitchy pin hitter who can be a very physical blocker at the net. When you combine that with her ability to pass, defend, and score, it’s easy to see that Hannah has a lot to offer. We’re excited to have her on our side of the net!”
Brooke Larsen Setter 5-11 Council Bluffs, Iowa Lewis Central High School
Brooke Larsen will make the move to Brookings after competing for four years at Lewis Central High School.
Larsen is a four-year contributor for the Titans and picked up several accolades for her junior and senior seasons, including back-to-back KMAland Offensive Player of the Year recognition.
As a junior in 2023, Larsen collected multiple all-state and all-conference honors and was on the 4A all-state tournament team. She was the KMA Hawk 10 Setter of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 and was the Council Bluffs City Player of the Year. In her senior season, Larsen averaged 4.4 assists, 3.3 kills, and 3.6 digs per set. For her career, Larsen averaged more than 3.0 assists per set in every season.
With her club team, Larsen was named to the AVCA Phenom watch list in 2023 and the AVCA All-American watch list in 2024.
Outside of volleyball, Larsen is also involved in volleyball, golf and track & field. She is on the Principal’s Honor Roll and ranks in the top 10 percent of her class.
Larsen is the daughter of Kim and Tom Larsen. She plans to major in political science.
Head Coach Dan Georgalas on Brooke Larsen: “Brooke is a confident and athletic player any coach would love to have at the setting position. She’s consistent with her setting location and always puts her attackers in a good position to score a point. An uber-competitor and a multi-sport athlete, Brooke will develop into a great vocal leader for our program in the future.”
