The November meeting of the Brookings Birding Club will be Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Larson Nature Center at Dakota Nature Park.
The speaker will be Luke Zilverberg and his address will focus on Grassland Management for Birds. This is fitting because Zilverberg is a senior grassland ecologist with the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department.
After the talk, the club will briefly discuss the plans for the 2024 Christmas Bird Count. This year the Brookings Circle will hold its count on Dec. 14. If you wish to participate, you must sign up with compiler Dan Kemp at [email protected]. Final signup for the Dec. 14 CBC in Brookings will be made at the club’s Dec. 11 meeting.
