Susan Bertelson

Susan Bertelson, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and teacher passed peacefully Nov. 6, 2024, age 75.
Susan shared a wonderful marriage with her husband, David, with whom she raised 4 children, Daryn, Chad, Sonya, Andy.
She played flute and sang with choir at First Lutheran Church. She earned bachelors and masters degrees in mathematics from SDSU. As a teacher she touched many lives while at Brookings High School, SDSU, SCF, Clearwater, Florida.
Susan is survived by her husband, two sisters, one brother, four children, and eight grandchildren.
A service will be held summer 2025 at Eksjo Lutheran Church, Lake Park, Minnesota.
