Im writing this letter in support of Roger DeGroot and Mellissa Heermanns re-election to the South Dakota House.
These two individuals have shown they are effective consensus builders who represent District 7 well in Pierre.
Whether its supporting education, housing, workforce development or any other issue important to the Brookings area, these two have shown they are able to get things done. Pierre needs two more years of leadership from Brookings best as the state works to address critical issues facing our community.
DeGroot and Heermann have a record of being engaged in the community and listening to our concerns. They have shown they listen to all of Brookings, not just those they agree with.
DeGroots service on the House Education and Taxation Committees and Heermanns service on the House Education and Health and Human Services Committees are valuable to Brookings.
Join me in sending experience, thoughtfulness and results back to Pierre. Vote DeGroot and Heermann on Nov. 5.
