BROOKINGS The Brookings Economic Development Corp. is still actively collecting feedback from Brookings County residents through the 2024 Consumer Survey. This survey plays a key role in shaping the future of retail and restaurant options in the community, as well as supporting the growth of local businesses.
Attracting new businesses and helping existing ones expand are vital in strengthening Brookings economy. New businesses bring fresh investments, while supporting the growth of established businesses boosts their competitiveness and keeps local dollars circulating within the community.
We encourage everyone in Brookings County to share their insights on the types of businesses theyd like to see, said Stephanie Mason of the BEDC. Your input will influence the direction of local development, helping us create more opportunities and a thriving community.
The survey is open to all those who regularly contribute to the Brookings economy, including those living outside city limits, commuters and students. BEDC is seeking a wide range of perspectives to guide decision-making and ensure the community’s needs are met. To participate, visit www.brookingsedc.com/consumers and complete the short survey.
In addition to taking the survey, residents can participate in public meetings, focus groups, and support Brookings growth by shopping locally.
