CHESTER The Sioux Valley Cossacks fell in straight sets as they were swept by the Chester Flyers by scores of 25-23, 25-23 and 25-19 on Tuesday night.
The loss puts the Cossacks with a record of 20-5 ahead of their next match on Monday in Arlington.
Adison Renkly led the Cossacks with eight kills while Lacey Langland had six kills. Machaela Gerasch led Sioux Valley with 13 assists while Sunny Hesby had seven assists.
Renkly also led Sioux Valley defensively with team highs in digs (10) and block assists (five). Keyra Kruse also had four block assists and Emma Gorvin had nine digs.
Hesby, Gorvin and Kaedyn Sapp each had two aces from the service line.
Lily Vanthal led the Flyers with 19 kills while Emmerson Eppard had 10 kills. Jacy Wolf had 16 assists and Vanthal had 14 assists. Gracie Huntimer had 20 digs and Lexi Bauman had 12 digs to go with two aces.
