BROOKINGS Thanks to the many donations from the community and support from the local Friends of the Library chapter, the Brookings Public Library is holding its spring book sale through Oct. 20.
With books of all genres and other media, there is sure to be something for every interest. All proceeds from this sale will help fund programming and materials purchasing at the library.
The event opened with a Friends of the Library members only preview on Wednesday. Memberships are sold at the librarys circulation desk. The sale runs from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 19 and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 20.
