SDSU’s State A Thon raises money to help area children

On Oct. 3, SDSUs State A Thon had its “10K in a Day” where it aimed to raise $10,000 in just 24 hours to support kids and families receiving care at the Castle of Care in Sioux Falls.

In total, the organization raised $27,737.09. State A Thon is a part of a nationwide movement called Dance Marathon. Over 300 campuses across the U.S. work to raise money for Childrens Miracle Network.

All the money it raises goes to the Sanford Childrens Castle of Care in Sioux Falls to support children in this area.
