BROOKINGS Brookings City Council members invite community members to join them for Coffee with Council on Friday. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Starbucks at 1404 Sixth St.
The come-and-go event aims to provide people a unique opportunity to connect with their elected City representatives in a casual and relaxed setting.
The City Council recognizes the importance of open communication and fostering a strong connection with community members. The Coffee with Council events aim to break down barriers and create a welcoming space for residents and visitors to share their thoughts, concerns and ideas with their elected officials and to learn more about how to get involved in their town.
Brookings City Council members encourage all to attend to learn more about city initiatives and projects, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with fellow neighbors.
