VERONA, Wis. The South Dakota State womens golf team wrapped the Badger Invitational in fourth place Tuesday at University Ridge Golf Course. The Jackrabbits were led by a sixth-place finish for Piper Stubbs.
Stubbs was 3-over on Tuesday and finished the tournament with a +3 scorecard. Her best round of the week came Monday, where she matched her career-best single round with a 69 (-3). This is the 14th top-10 finish of Stubbs career. She finished the event with nine birdies.
McKenzie Mages and McKenzie Mages tied for 31st place with +11 final tallies. Mages had the best round of the Jackrabbits Tuesday, recording a 2-over round, while OHara posted a +3 scorecard for the day.
Shakira-Ann Kuys finished in 42nd place (+16) and Reese Jansa rounded out the lineup in 47th (+17).
The Jackrabbits had a +32 final team score, 10 shots off the top of the leaderboard. Delaware won the team title at +22, followed by Sam Houston State at +29. Sam Houstons Grace Jin (-4) edged USFs Leonor Medeiros (-3) for individual medalist honors.
