HURON The Brookings Bobcats split four games at Huron Arena on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Spearfish and Mitchell but fell to Dell Rapids and Huron.
The Bobcats are 3-2 on the season and will travel to Watertown for a match on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Brookings 2, Spearfish 0
The Bobcats won the first set 25-20 and closed the match with a 25-13 victory in the second set.
Macy Even led Brookings with 12 kills while Rylee Thompson had five kills. Tess Burns had two kills. Arielle Ferrell, Kymber Buys and Lydia Walker each had a kill.
Kamryn Streich led the Bobcats with 11 assists while Buys had four assists and Morgan Norgaard had two assists. Thompson also had one assist.
The Bobcats also had three aces with Burns recording two aces and Thompson recording one ace.
Norgaard led the Bobcats with 12 digs. Even had 10 digs. Burns had six digs. Streich and Buys had four digs each. Ferrell and Walker each had a dig.

The Bobcats took the first set 25-19 before Mitchell won the second set 25-21. Brookings rebounded to win the third set 25-22.
Even had 13 kills for the Bobcats. Thompson had seven kills. Walker and Buys had five kills each. Ferrell had four kills.
