BROOKINGS The Brookings Bobcats hosted their annual Jamboree quadrangular at the Hillcrest Tennis courts, taking part in four duals over Friday and Saturday.
The Bobcats went 0-2 on Friday losing by a score of 9-0 to Aberdeen Central and Yankton. They played better but lost both duals on Saturday as well, falling to Watertown 8-1 and Aberdeen Roncalli 6-3.
Brookings is 0-8 on the season and will host a triangular against Sioux Falls Washington and Sioux Falls Roosevelt at the Hillcrest Tennis Courts beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.

Aberdeen Central 9, Brookings 0
Maya Gent lost to Ashley Ortega 10-3 in singles action while Yuki Zhu lost to Reese Comstock 10-2. Lada Senchanka lost to Chole Ladner and Alison Glover lost to Sarah Knie to the same score of 10-1. Sophie Tanner lost to Julie Knie and Anika Hooda lost to Avery Tennant by a score of 10-0.
In doubles action, Tanner and Hooda lost to Julie Knie and Tennant 10-2. Zhu and Senchanka lost to Comstock and Ladner 10-2. Glover and Gent lost to Sarah Knie and Anna Wells 10-1.
Yankton 9, Brookings 0
Zhu lost to Paige Mitzel by a score of 10-5. Glover lost to Kara Koeiner 10-4. Gent lost to Megan Scott 10-2. Hooda lost to Sabrina Krajewski 10-2. Tanner lost to Nora Krajewski 10-1.
Zhu and Senchanka lost to Mitzel and Gordon 10-3 in doubles action. Tanner and Hood lost to Nora and Sabrina Krajewski 10-1. Glover and Gent lost to Scott and Koerner 10-1.
Saturday
Watertown 8, Brookings 1
Hooda picked up the win for Brookings in singles competition, defeating Hannah Pesek 10-3.
In other singles action, Zhu lost to Faith Berg 10-5; Tanner lost to Ellie Zink 10-4; Senchanka lost to Sophia Nichols 10-0; Glover lost to Cayda Weiss 10-0 and Smetana lost to Jade Smith 10-0.
In doubles competition, Tanner and Hooda lost to Zink and Pesek 10-3; Zhu and Senchanka lost to Berg and Nichols 10-1; and Glover and Smetana lost to Weiss and Smith 10-0.
Aberdeen Roncalli 6, Brookings 3
Tanner and Zhu each picked up singles wins for Brookings. Tanner defeated Katherin Kutchman 10-2 while Zhu beat Raley Haskell 10-8.
In other singles action, Hooda lost to River Haskell 10-9 including a 3-7 tiebreaker; Senchanka lost to Keira Rivett 10-5; Catie Michna lost to Gianna Cihak 10-3 and Glover lost to Molleigh Hofer 10-1.
In doubles action, Tanner and Hooda defeated Kutchman and Raley Haskell 10-2; Zhu and Senchanka lost to River Haskell and Rivett 10-9 (5-7 tiebreaker); and Glover and Michna lost to Hofer and Cihak 10-3.
