Colman-Egan received votes in the South Dakota Media Preseason Volleyball Poll on Monday.
The Hawks received 13 votes and were just outside of the top-five in Class B. Colman-Egan went 30-6 last season and won the consolation championship at the State Tournament. The Hawks will open the 2024 season on Thursday as they play at Baltic at 7:15 p.m.
Chester Area received 10 first-place votes and were the top-ranked team in Class B. Harrisburg received all 12 first-place votes in Class AA and were ranked No. 1. Sioux Falls Christian is atop Class A as the Chargers received nine first-place votes.
