RAPID CITY Reese Jansa of Sioux Falls and Kevin Gillick of Rapid City won the South Dakota Golf Association Womens and Mens Amateur Championships at Meadowbrook Golf Course over the weekend.
Jansa took home the womens amateur title with a three-day total of 221.
Mitchells Olivia Braun finished second at 223 while Mitchells Allison Meyerink shot a 230, Rapid Citys Tanna Phares shot a 231 and Rapid Citys Natalie Young shot a 236 to round out the top-five.
Gillick won the mens amateur championship with a score of 211. Sioux Falls native Brock Murphy finished second with a score of 214 followed by Colmans Kaden Groos (215), Sioux Fallss Hayden Scott (217) and Hartfords Radley Mauney (218).
Brookings native Ashton Austreim finished 11th in the womens division and fellow Brookings native Brodie Hullinger finished 15th on the mens side.
Austreim finished with a total score of 257 during the three-event, shooting 87 on Friday, 83 on Saturday and 87 on Sunday.
Hullinger finished with a total score of 223, shooting a 73 on Friday and Saturday and finishing the tournament with a 77 on Sunday.
