SIOUX FALLS Summit League officials released the 2024-25 conference basketball schedules Wednesday.
For the South Dakota State women, the league season begins Jan. 2 and features a 16-game home-and-home schedule with every Summit League team.
The Jackrabbits will start their season on the road with games against Oral Roberts (Jan. 2) and Denver (Jan. 4). The Jacks will then welcome Omaha to Brookings as they host their first conference game at First Bank and Trust Arena on Jan. 9.
The annual Interstate Series presented by First Interstate Bank will feature two contests with in-state rival South Dakota. The Jackrabbits will travel to Vermillion Jan. 25, then host the Coyotes at First Bank & Trust Arena Feb. 15.
SDSU hosts a rematch of the 2024 Summit League Championship game against North Dakota State Jan. 29 and heads to Fargo for the return trip Feb. 12.
Other home contests include Kansas City on Jan. 11, North Dakota on Jan. 18, Oral Roberts on Feb. 8, Denver on Feb. 27 and St. Thomas on March 1.
The Jackrabbits have won the Summit Leagues regular-season title each of the last four seasons and are the two-time defending postseason champions. SDSU has won 47 consecutive regular-season conference games, which is tied for the 10th longest streak in NCAA history.
For the 16th-consecutive year, the men and women will culminate their seasons in Sioux Falls, as the 2025 Basketball Championships are set for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center for March 5-9.
