Mahyle Hausman and Twyla Gregorie from Camp Adventure recently accepted a check and presented the Brookings Optimist Club’s program.
Camp Adventure has been operating since the early 1990s and offers a social experience to kids with disabilities.
They passed around a thank you letter for our donation, which allowed them to have a field trip to Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown. Some of their other activities were bowling and visitie the Childrens Museum of South Dakota in Brookings.
