Shirley Ann (Ramlo) Phillips, 48, of Brookings, SD, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Avas House, Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at Rudes Funeral Home in Brookings, SD. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. following the visitation. There will be a graveside service held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, on July 27, at Singsaas Cemetery in rural Hendricks, MN.
Shirley Ann Ramlo was born Jan, 12, 1976 along with her twin sister, Lois. The daughter of Manuel and Wanda (Hanson) Ramlo.
She was united in marriage to Edward Phillips on June 15, 2019. Shirley loved life and had a heart full of love for people, including her Good Will family. Shirley was known for her selflessness and Shirleys home was filled with her joy of her beloved bulldogs who were her constant companions. Her unwavering generosity touched the lives of many. Shirley will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward Phillips; her parents Manuel and Wanda Ramlo; her siblings, Kristi (Roger) Buysse, Bette (Doug) Steffen, Dean (Molly) Ramlo and Lois Jaragoske; her nieces and nephews, Derek (Emma) Buysse, Sarah (Zack) Stelter, Emily (Ben) Buysse, Noah (Mia) Steffen, Joshua Steffen, Addison, Jacob and Caleb Ramlo, Ari, Hannah and Adam Jaragoske; two great nieces and one great nephew, three step children, Ruth (Sonny) Banks, Gary (Jen) Phillips, Mark (Kristi) Phillips, 3 step grandchildren and sister-in-law, Peggy (Harlan) Place and by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Hilmor and Myrtle Hanson and Joseph and Alma Ramlo; nephew, Scott Buysse and her beloved Champ.
