The George Dokken Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Post No. 2118 have selected organizations that will participate in the Third Sunday Breakfast program for the 2024-2025 year.
The following non profit organizations that were selected are:
- August will be the Brookings School District Foundation
- Brookings Police Department Foundation in September
- In October will be the Brookings Pink Ladies
- In November will be the Brookings Chapter of General Foundation of Womens Clubs
- The Brookings High School PTA in December
- Starting the new year will have the Brookings Boy Scout Troop No. 1 helping serve the breakfast
- In February the Brookings Figure Skating Club was selected
- In March the breakfast will be prepared and served by the VFW Auxiliary members
The breakfast will consist of two entries: pancakes or biscuits and gravy along with three sausages, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee.
The single entree is $8 and both entrees are $10. Children ages 3 to 8 eat for $4 and children 2 and under eat for free.
