BROOKINGS Beckers Hospital Review recently published its 100 Great Community Hospitals 2024 list, recognizing Brookings Health System as one of its top community hospitals.
In the list, Beckers notes Brookings Healths recent honors for quality, including:
- Named a Top 20 Rural Community Hospital by the National Rural Hospital Association for the seventh time in 2024.
- Awarded a Performance Leadership Award for the seventh consecutive year by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, with recognition in all three categories: quality, outcome and patient perspective.
- Featured on Newsweeks list of Worlds Best Hospitals for four consecutive years.
The community hospitals honored by Beckers are focused on bringing clinical and academic excellence, personalized and holistic care, and overall improved health to their communities.
The Beckers editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on nominations and editorial research. Beckers Healthcare considered several outside rankings and ratings organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), The Leapfrog Group, the National Rural Health Association and The Chartis Center for Rural Health. Organizations do not pay and cannot pay for inclusion on the list.
