A note to agree with Dave Karolczak. Allyn Frerichs truly believed in the beauty of our city. I hadnt thought about the issues of ticks. I did say in the end of my letter that esthetic would be a nice replacement.
Imagine our trails sided and unused lawns spread with a beautiful scented mixture of some of the following which happen to deter ticks. Thyme, lemon balm, sweet basil, chamomile, sage, lavender and/or catnip.
