  • 1:20 p.m. Officers responded to Sixth Street and 22nd Avenue for a medical emergency. The patient was transported by EMS.
  • 2:12 p.m. Officers responded to a fight and one female was arrested.
  • 8:41 p.m. Officers responded to a report of possible child abuse.

Tuesday, May 28

  • 1:04 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop.
  • 10:08 a.m. Officers took a report. This case is currently under investigation.
  • 11:25 a.m. Officers took a report of vandalism to city park property.
  • 2:33 p.m. A background investigation conducted for new hire.
  • 4:05 p.m. Officers responded to a report of theft by shoplifting. A male was cited.
  • 8:13 p.m. Officers took a report of shoplifting.
  • 10:29 p.m. Officer responded to a nuisance/ noise complaint. One male was later arrested for driving under the influence zero tolerance.
  • 10:32 p.m. Officers took a suspicious person report.
  • 11 p.m. A warrant was served at the Brookings County Detention Center.
  • 11:47 p.m. Officers responded to a mental health-related call. One male was taken into custody on a protective custody hold.
