BROOKINGS Meyer Orthodontics, a local, family owned practice serving the Brookings and Madison communities since 1986, has announced the opening of its new main office location in fall 2024. Situated in the heart of the University Marketplace at 988 22nd Ave, the new office is strategically positioned across from T.J. Maxx and Zesto, offering enhanced convenience and accessibility for patients and their families.
For over three decades, the home of Meyer Orthodontics has been at 105 22nd Ave., a space that holds historical significance as the former campaign office of Gov.Mickelson. In 1991, the practice expanded into the neighboring office, doubling its size and capacity to better serve the community.
In January 2020, Meyer Orthodontics was sold to Dr. Paul and Rachel Meyer, the son and daughter-in-law of founder Dr. David Meyer. For 30 years, the pillars of Dr. David Meyers approach to orthodontics were quality, kindness, and grace values that are still foundational to the practice today.
The transition to the new office signifies a continued commitment to providing unparalleled care and comfort to patients of all ages. With a keen focus on family-friendly amenities, the new clinic area is designed to accommodate both children and adults. A dedicated mothers room with a changing table, along with a warm and welcoming waiting room, are two examples of how the space has been intentionally designed to allow for families to relax and enjoy while waiting for appointments.
The new location offers ample parking for all patients and their families.
Additionally, the proximity to Brookings Middle School and Camelot Intermediate School, as well as the new Brookings interstate exit 130, makes it easier for any out-of-town patients to access the practice.
A spacious break room which doubles as a conference room, will allow for more team education and connection opportunities.
A dedicated locker room ensures staff have a comfortable space to store personal belongings.
Technological advancements are also at the forefront of the new office design. A modern dental lab equipped with space for 3D printing enhances efficiency and precision in treatment. Designated areas for intraoral scanning in both the clinic and exam rooms streamline the patient experience and ensure the highest standard of care.
In keeping with its commitment to the local community, Meyer Orthodontics partnered with esteemed local firms, ID8 Architecture and Clark Drew Construction, for the build-out of the new office. This collaboration underscores the practices dedication to partnering with local businesses and investing in the vibrant and growing Brookings community.
Dr. Paul Meyer, owner and lead orthodontist at Meyer Orthodontics, expressed his excitement about the move, stating, Our new office represents a significant milestone for our practice and the community we serve. We are thrilled to continue our long history of quality care in a space that reflects our values and commitment to both our staff and patients.
The team at Meyer Orthodontics looks forward to welcoming patients to their new location and continuing to serve the Brookings community for many years to come.
