YANKTON The Brookings Bobcats are in 11th place after the first day of the Class AA Girls State Golf Tournament on Monday at the Hillcrest Country Club.
The Bobcats shot a team score of 405 on the first day and were led by Delilah Fuls, who is 12th with a score of 84.
Miyah Foerster is tied for 34th place with a score of 95 and Aubrey Knutzen is tied for 63rd with a score of 110. Josie Bertrand rounded out the team scoring and sits in 69th place with a score of 116 and Kamryn Streich is 72nd with a score of 120.
Three shots separate the top three teams at the tournament as Mitchell is in first place with a score of 331, Aberdeen Central is second with a score of 332 and Watertown is third with a score of 333. OGorman is fourth with a score of 345 and Sioux Falls Lincoln rounds out the top five with a score of 362.
Olivia Braun leads the tournament after the first day with a score of 72 while Mitchells Allison Meyerink is three shots behind with a score of 75. Mitchells Maddie Childs and OGormans Erin Hurd are tied for third place with a score of 78 and Watertowns Gabi Olson, Yanktons Ella Homstad and Spearfishs Allison Kennedy are tied for fifth with a score of 80.
The tournament will resume for its final day on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
