BROOKINGS The Brookings Memorial Day Program will be held at the Dacotah Bank Center on May 27.
This free event, open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at approximately 11 a.m.. The public is invited to gather to honor and pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
The Elkton Memorial Day program and potluck will be May 27 at 10 a.m. in the Elkton Community Center.
Burrows-Young Post 114 and American Legion Auxiliary will host Volgas Memorial Day program at the Sioux Valley Schools high school gymnasium at 9 a.m. May 27. John Kubal, reporter for the Brookings Register, will deliver the Memorial Day address.
In White a Memorial Day Community meal will be held at noon on May 27 at the McKnight Hall.
