Tuesday, May 14
- 4:55 a.m. Brookings police officers responded to an agency assist.
- 7:40 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity.
- 8:05 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident that occurred in the high school parking lot. A report was completed.
- 9:54 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft from the 2400 block of Sixth Street.
- 11:22 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a theft report in the 800 block of 25th Avenue.
- 2:30 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of suspicious activity.
- 3:58 p.m. Officers assisted state parole in bringing in a parolee.
- 4:09 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a vandalism report in the 1500 block of Fifth Street.
- 4:16 p.m. Officers took a report of a non-injury crash in the Walmart parking lot.
Wednesday, May 15
- 2:30 a.m. Officers took a report of theft of a motor vehicle.
- 7:28 a.m. Officers arrested an individual on a warrant.
- 1:49 p.m. A background check was assigned to a detective.
- 2:32 p.m. A background check was assigned to a detective.
- 4:13 p.m. A business called to report trespass on one of its properties.
Thursday, May 16
- 11:23 a.m. Officers were made aware of a weapons violation in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. A report was filed and charges are pending.
- 4:50 p.m. A report was made of simple assault/intimidation. A male was subsequently arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct, and false impersonation.
Friday, May 17
- 10:56 a.m. Officers were called to the Brookings County Detention Center for a individual who drove to the jail intoxicated. Officers located the individual and he was later arrested.
- 12:03 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Eighth Street South and Medary Avenue South.
- 1:08 p.m. Officers received a traffic complaint on I-29 by an outside agency. Officers were able to locate the vehicle within the city of Brookings. An investigation is currently ongoing.
- 1:36 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of suspicious activity.
- 2:57 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 900 block of 25th Avenue for a mental health issue.
- 8:16 p.m. Officers performed a welfare check.
