In legislative District 8 (rural Brookings, Kingsbury, Lake and Miner counties), the decisions about who will serve in our state legislature will be decided on June 4. That is true because only Republicans are competing for the job this time around, so the decision will be made now, and not at the November general election.
Matt Wagner is my first choice to serve as one of our representatives.
Jesus said that we can know someone by observing their fruit. In other words, knowing where someone has been and what they have done will tell you what you need to know about them going forward.
Matt is genuine, honest, generous, kind and hard working. He lives on the farm he grew up on. The work ethic he learned there serves him well in his primary business, doing concrete construction work around the area. He is devoted to his wife of 25 years. Matt and Kerri have 3 grown children, any one of which you would be pleased to have join your family.
Besides being committed to his family and business customers, Matt has valuable insight from years of service on the school boards for the Volga Christian School and Sioux Valley Public School. He is also active in church where he currently serves as an elder. In every role, Matt serves with excellence and integrity.
I have known Matt for 30 years.
He will make a wonderful, hardworking servant leader for District 8. Please join me in voting for Matt Wagner for House.
