YANKTON Delilah Fuls finished 17th and Miyah Foerster finished 22nd as the Brookings Bobcats competed at the 2024 Yankton Girls Invitational at the Hillcrest Golf & Country Club on Friday morning.
Fuls finished with a score of 90 (+18) that tied with Yanktons Ellia Homstad, Watertowns Aspen Reynolds and Sioux Falls Lincolns Abbie Westra.
Foerster shot a 93 and finished tied with Sioux Falls Roosevelts Sadie Hunter, Sioux Falls Jeffersons Faith Skelton and Madi Jacobsen and Liliana Van Der Wyst of Rapid City Stevens.
Olivia Braun of Aberdeen Central had the top individual score at the event, shooting a 76 (+4) while Watertowns Gabil Olson finished second with a score of 77 (+5). Mitchells Allison Meyerink finished third with a score of 78 (+6), Aberdeen Centrals Emma Dohrer finished fourth with a score of 79 (+7) and Aberdeen Centrals Kyle Wirebaugh finished fifth with a score of 82 (+10).
Aberdeen Central finished first at the invitational with a team score of 333 while Mitchell finished in second place with a score of 338, Watertown finished third with a score of 343, Rapid City Stevens finished fourth with a score of 365 and OGorman finished fifth with a score of 373.
The Bobcats will return to action when they compete in the Sioux Falls Washington Invitational at the Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls at 9 a.m. Monday.
