YANKTON The Brookings boys tennis team dropped a pair of duals during a triangular with Yankton and Watertown on Thursday.
The Bobcats lost both duals 9-0. Brookings drops to 2-10 on the season and will play a dual at Sioux Falls Washington on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Yankton 9, Brookings 0
Zach Mueller came closest to winning against the Bucks as he fell to Miles Krajewski 10-5 in the fifth singles match. Xavier St. Pierre and Andrew Hahn each lost 10-2. Xavier St. Pierre fell to Luke Moeller in the fourth match and Hahn lost to Marsh in the sixth match. JC St. Pierre lost to Harrison Krajewski 10-1 in the second match and Braylon Peters and Carson Kreie each lost 10-0. Hahn lost to Zac Briggs in the No. 1 singles match and Kreie lost to Chris Rockne in the third match.
Mueller and Hahn lost to Miles Krajewski and Marsh in the third doubles match, 10-5. The St. Pierre brothers fell to Rockne and Moeller 10-2 in the second doubles match and Peters and Kreie lost to Briggs and Harrison Krajewski 10-0 in the No. 1 doubles match.
Watertown 9, Brookings 0
All Brookings players won games in the second game of the triangular. Peters lost to Curtis Sneden 10-3 in the No. 1 singles match and JC St. Pierre lost to Dawson Hartman 10-4 in the second singles match. Kreie fell to Justin Remmers 10-2 in the third singles match and Xavier St. Pierre lost to Joey Meester in the No. 4 singles match. Zach Mueller and Andrew Hahn each lost 10-5. Mueller lost to Skyler Stanton in the No. 5 match and Hahn fell to Matthew Bertsch in the No. 6 match.
Peters and Kreie lost to Sneden and Evan Meester in the No. 1 doubles match, 10-1. The St. Pierre brothers fell to Stanton and Remmers 10-2 in the second doubles match and Mueller and Hahn lost to Joey Meester and Sam Karst 10-2 in the No. 3 match.
